Noise-deadening is a quite welcome side effect of the elastic protective layer.

MetaLine Series 700 –

MetaLine Series 700 coatings can be equipped with non-stick properties and variable sliding friction values. On the other hand, the soft material characteristics protect against breakage, e.g. for frozen, glazed or impact-sensitive foodstuffs. Noise reduction is far more than a welcome "side effect" of the elastic protective skin. MetaLine changes surfaces! The following international approvals according to FDA standards are available, depending on the coating type specification:

Food-safe coatings - do not necessarily have to come into contact with food. Often, the goal is simply to create germ-free surfaces in food processing. One example is this rubber compensator, which is made of industrial rubber and therefore requires a finish!
Food grade coating – if the base material is not food-safe, coating it can often be the solution! MetaLine adheres to a wide variety of substrates and is food-safe in accordance with U.S. FDA regulations
Food-safe coating – a certified coating is not a free pass for everything. There are temperature limits to be observed, the duration of contact is defined, and depending on the country, there may be additional specific requirements, such as the fact that drinking water is not tested according to food standards but according to its own classification
Food-grade coating – whether it’s the food itself or food waste, MetaLine coatings protect surfaces from corrosive and aggressive fruit acids, for example. After all, even stainless steel can’t do everything!
Mixer volute coating – porous-free coatings are a hygienic prime demand in food technology. MetaLine Series 700 are self-leveling and self-venting coatings systems. Thixotropic lining products do not have these properties
Food-safe coating – when a component is transformed into a work of art, the materials used are often not food-safe. Applying a MetaLine coating can be the key solution here – even on complex geometries!
3-D-Printercoating – printed parts are a technical revolution. However, due to its porous surface structure these parts are not completely suitable for food- or pharma applications. A coating with MetaLine Series 500 solves this problem
Food-grade coating – an FDA-compliant driver finger cast using MetaLine 760. Thanks to the precise casting process, no mechanical post-processing is required
Food-safe coating – a scale head of an Ishida® multihead weigher coated with 1.5 mm (60 mils) of MetaLine 590. The coating reduces noise, protects food from breakage, and optimizes the packaging process
Sterilizable coating – what is a matter of course for housewives is even more important in industrial processes: easy cleanability! MetaLine Series 700 coatings are easy to clean, disinfect, and sterilize
Food-safe coating – granular or powdered foods are often sieved. Breakage protection—for example, for nuts—is a top priority in the specifications. With MetaLine elastomeric coatings, this isn’t really a problem—they’re even FDA-compliant!
Hygienic coating – stainless steel screw conveyor coated with 3 mm (120 mils) MetaLine 795. The sprayed MetaLine coatings impress with their smoothness, non-porous surface, and—above all—the fact that they are applied cold, so the underlying structure is not exposed to heat!
Heat exchanger coating – Close to be perfect. Elastomeric, seamless, FDA approved, EU 1935/2004 corresponding, ultra wear resistant, desinfectable, non-conductive . . .
