Repair materials for sealing pipe leaks

MetaLine Series XL – MetaLine Series XL are spatula or brush-applicable repair materials for the permanent sealing of metal, plastic or concrete pipes. Use is possible on all pipe diameters. Via various reinforcement techniques high-pressure applications up to 200 bar (2,900 psi) operating pressure are possible. Processing can be done completely spark-free, so that measures on explosive components or flammable stored materials are possible. However, the products are electrically insulating and their suitability for use with regard to static charge build-up (ATEX protection) must first be examined.

Technical solutions in detail

MetaLine SXL –

MetaLine SXL is a trowelable ceramic repair material for the permanent sealing of metal, plastic and concrete pipes. It can be applied to all pipe diameters. Various reinforcement techniques allow high pressure applications up to 200 bar (2,900 psi)  working pressure. Reinforcement can be metal mesh, metal strapping or screwable half-shells. The use of plastic mesh, e.g. glass fibre mats, is not professional!

Processing can be carried out without sparking, so that measures can also be taken on components at risk of explosion or with flammable storage media. However, the product is electrically insulating and its applicability regarding electrostatic charging (EX protection) must be checked in advance!

Leakage sealing - MetaLine repair ceramic SXL is used to seal a pressurized water pipe made of HDPE (heavy duty polyethylene). Prior, shock-like flame treatment is required for adhesion to non-polar plastics. We will be happy to explain why and how this works!
Pipe sealing - a perfect, screwable, metallic half-shell for maximum reinforcement/armoring of synthetic pipe repairs. Sealing could not be better!
Pipe leak sealing - the reinforcement shell stabilizes mechanically and the repair ceramic SXL seals! After solidification, the repair area can withstand higher loads than the pipe itself. The process is also suitable for sealing hydraulic systems!
Pipe bend sealing - not pretty and unfortunately without professional substrate preparation - but still tight! Nevertheless, such seals should be carried out according to our specifications. With metal reinforcement and professional preparation. MetaLine does not stand for unprofessional shortcuts . . .
Internal pipe sealing - here the sandblasted and cleaned surface of an industrial cooling water system. Sealing does not necessarily have to be done from the outside. It is usually much more logical and promising to seal from the inside!
Pipe sealing - here on a power plant cooling system. From the inside and with the help of a coating that also ensures corrosion protection. Preparation is crucial here. Simply brushing it on won't make you or us happy!
Dredging pipe repair - anything that constantly bends can leak! A case for the modern repair technologies from MetaLine. Not quick and easy, but tried and tested and almost as good as new - but not with the ceramic XL series, but with the elastic 700 series - just keep scrolling!
