The use of suitable masking and adhesive tapes significantly facilitates professional coating.

Unsuitable tapes cannot be removed from the coating anymore leave residues or lose their stickiness. When it comes to protecting sensitive surfaces during gritblasting efficient products are highly in demand.

In our coating workshop we have the possibility to test different materials and novel products intensively in everyday use. Only those products effectively used by us are offered to our customers.

Folio-adhesive tape

This tape is only to be used as masking tape. A thin 550 mm (21 inches) wide folded PE foil is attached to an approximately 15 mm (0.6 inch) wide self-adhesive strip. After attaching the foil it may be unfolded to cover a large area accurately fitting. This tape is easy to handle and may be processed rapidly.

Textile reinforced tape

These self-adhesive tapes may be applied in 2 to 3 layers as a means of protection during gritblasting. Thanks to its fiber reinforcement which enables good adhesion, the tape may be pulled off after sandblasting in one go. Furthermore, this tape may be used when elastomeric coatings are difficult to apply. After solidification, the tape may be pulled out under the coating in one go and enables clean edge processing.
