Technical solutions in detail

MetaLine Series 500 –

MetaLine Series 500 coatings are seamlessly spray applied and enhance printed plastic surfaces by means of an impact resistant, elastic protective skin. After coating the parts are suitable for almost all pharmaceutical and food related applications. Available in various colors.

MetaLine Series 500 coatings optimise the surface quality, porosity, cleaning capability and wear resistance of printed parts. The following purity standards are covered, depending on the individual coating type:

  • FDA 177.1680 (title 21)      (Pharmaceutical)
  • (EU) 1935/2004                    (Food)
  • BS 6920: Part 2.6 2000       (Potable water)
  • AS/NZS 4020:2005              (Potable water)

Wir lösen Erosionsprobleme an Ventilatoren / Gebläsen!
Coating for 3D-printed parts – plastic parts coated with a slip-optimized finish featuring an extremely low coefficient of static friction of just 0.1! Our coatings are suitable for a wide variety of geometries and part sizes. We also process individual parts quickly and easily
Coatings for 3D printing – it doesn’t get any more delicate or smaller than this! When it comes to surface issues, MetaLine is your expert partner. Of course, we can’t solve every surface problem, but we can solve a great many! Take our word for it!
Coating for 3D printing – transforming a plastic surface into a functional surface: optimized for sliding, wear-resistant, sterilizable, electrically conductive, and much more. Are you designing equipment and need technical advice? We can assist you immediately by phone or video conference!
Coatings for 3D printing – the first question people usually ask is how “thick” our coating is. The thickness of our coatings depends on the load and wear conditions, i.e., it depends on the specific application. In short: A coating thickness of less than 500 µm (20 mils) makes no sense at all
Coatings for 3D printing – this can also be a practical solution for 3D-printed components! A textured surface that reduces the load bearing area. However, “textured” does not mean “porous”! Our elastomeric coating structures are in demand in the fields of haptics, acoustics, electronics, and robotics
Coatings for 3D Printing - Our textured coatings are the industry standard for maximum scratch resistance. They’re as soft as rubber, as abrasion-resistant as steel, and as gentle as a pillow. Not everyone understands why a surface that looks like sandpaper provides such effective protection against scratches. Here’s your chance to ask us . . .
Coatings for 3D printing – MetaLine coatings influence electrical conductivity. From extreme electrical insulation to antistatic and electrostatic dissipative properties, we can tailor the coating precisely to your requirements
Coatings for 3D printing – MetaLine coatings are typically used for individual parts, prototypes, or small production runs. The process is not cost-effective enough for large-scale industrial production – even we can’t do everything!
Coating for 3D printing – these grippers used in food processing require our MetaLine coating to improve their grip on frozen foods. Our elastomeric coatings are specifically optimized for this purpose
Coating for 3D printing – This 3D-printed tool handle is transformed into a “real” tool thanks to a MetaLine coating. It fits comfortably in the hand, doesn’t slip, and doesn’t cause excessive sweating. It simply doesn’t feel like plastic anymore . . .
