The fast, gentle handling of individual parts or bulk material is an absolute prerequisite for a "smooth" parts manufacturing process. Even minor surface damages can lead to costly rejects. High clamping forces, difficult part geometries or lack of static friction, e.g. with oily surfaces, make precise handling more and more problematic. Technical solutions in detail

MetaLine Series 500 –

MetaLine Series 500 coatings reliably prevent scratches, marks, discoloration and “slipping”. Variable static friction values between my(0) of 0.1 and 0.7 enable maximum fixation/grip with minimum clamping forces. Also available in pharmaceutical and food-safe versions on request. Suitable for transportation, assembly or processing operations. The correct film thickness depends on the load and is set individually in each case.

Graduated degrees of hardness enable minimal “flowing around” of the structure to be gripped under load. This increases the real load-bearing surface of the gripper! Consequently, the exact determination of the material edges as well as the required coating surface has a considerable influence on the function and durability. Our expertise can help! 

Electrically insulating, anti-static or ESD – selectable as required. The elastic film properties are created by a multi-stage high-pressure spraying process in conjunction with a local ceramic corundum blasting process. Self-application is just as impossible as “dipping” or brushing on!
